Our Connections Wizard
Debbie MacIsaac, Provincial Trade Coordinator – Debbie brings a collaborative element to our team. She maintains partnerships with trade officials across all levels of government from the Atlantic provinces. One of her key tasks is administering applications for The Canada/Atlantic Provinces Agreement on International Business Development (IBDA); a federal and provincial partnership that promotes increased economic performance in Atlantic Canada through increased exports.
Within the province, Debbie stays in contact with government trade officials and stakeholders from the private sector through Trade Team Nova Scotia (TTNS) initiatives. TTNS provides a single entry point for companies interested in learning about resources offered by all of the trade development organizations in the province.
Debbie isn’t always behind the scenes strengthening partnerships. She’s often on the front line representing the province at events and dealing with international prospects. With over 18 years of research experience, Debbie has a deep-rooted knowledge of Nova Scotia’s product and service offerings. She also attends trade initiatives in the province to raise awareness of the resources available from all provincial trade departments to assist exporters.
If you’d like a hand searching for a trade professional with a particular specialization in Atlantic Canada, give Debbie a call. She can tap into a network that might make it easier for you.
